College Credit Programs
Admission to LSU is not required for enrollment in LSU Continuing Education college credit courses. If you are a currently admitted student in the LSU System, you must have permission from your college before enrolling in any of the courses.
Online Distance Learning (ODL) offers online college courses through the Moodle course management system. All course activities and instructor contact are done in your Moodle course site. Courses are self-paced, and you enroll at any time.
Independent & Distance Learning (IDL) offers college credit courses in web-enabled and print-based formats. Courses are self-paced, and you may enroll at any time. IDL also offers a number of non-credit college-preparatory courses.
LSU Continuing Education offers certificates for successful completion of specified sequences of credit courses in the areas of accounting, liberal studies, business communication, and human services.
LSU Continuing Education collaborates with expert providers to offer several online professional development and certificate programs.
